Internship Opportunity - TheCelebrityCafe.com
TheCelebrityCafe.com, the longest-running entertainment magazine on the Internet now in its 12th year, offers an unpaid telecommuting Fall internship in the marketing group to work on promotions. This internship would entail online promotions, and working with TV, radio, newspapers and magazines. The position would require approximately 10 hours a week, while adhering to correct style and ethics. Opportunities for paid positions may become available. As this is a virtual office, we all communicate via email, instant messenger and phone. The schedule is very flexible, and we can adjust your workload according to how much time you can commit.
We are looking in particular for someone interested in developing skills as a marketer, specifically of online content. Important qualifications include: solid communication skills, both verbal and written; some knowledge of Internet research via search engines will be very helpful; interest in entertainment; ability to work independently; knowledge of (or willingness to learn about) online communities, in particular message boards/forums; organization skills; and, hopefully, a sense of humor, curiosity and enthusiasm!
Send your cover letter and resume by email to neal AT thecelebritycafe DOT com. Your cover letter should include information about yourself, your background, and your hopes for what this internship might provide. Also include information about when you can start, how much time you can commit and whether you're comfortable working independently (with guidance from us, of course).
