Internship Opportunity - Bloomsburg University Foundation
The Bloomsburg University Foundation seeks an intern to coordinate a project designed to create a University-wide Naming Policy. This project involves University Trustees, Foundation Board and staff members and University faculty and staff. The projected outcome is a draft policy that will be presented to the Trustees for consideration and adoption by Summer, 2008.
The student intern must be able to manage a timeline and keep task force participants on schedule with their various assignments. S/he will also be expected to inventory existing University facilities relative to current or potential naming, assist in the development and drafting of the policy, research and review policies in place at other institutions and assist with the development of formulae related to naming of facilities or programs.
The intern will report directly to the Executive Director of the BU Foundation, and will work closely with task force members over the course of the Spring semester. A stipend will be available. For further information, please call Maryann Lindberg, Executive Director of the Bloomsburg University Foundation, at 389-4524.
