Competition Content
Questions for this competition will be drawn from the domains broadly defined as Technology, Logic, and Mathematics. Questions could be based on concepts, terminology, techniques, applications, historical facts, or any other topic within the broad disciplinary domains. Most of the questions will be of the type: Multiple-choice, True/False, Matching, and Fill in the blank (Single or Multiple), either/or, or Multiple Answer. Some question may carry more weight than others. Additionally, a few short-answer and descriptive type of questions may be included. Some of the questions will be designated as tie-breakers, and answers for these questions will be used strictly for the purpose designated.

Following sample questions are provided strictly for general guidance; they are not intended as representative of the disciplinary domain.

Competition Logistics
Tentatively, the first phase of this competition is scheduled for Thursday, October 16, 2008. Competition may be conducted in one or more phases. All registered contestants will be advised of the date, exact time, and venue of the test. The contest will be administered via Blackboard and the time allotted for the test will be 60 minutes. No grace time is allowed. Use of calculators, headphones, cell phones, MP3 devices is strictly prohibited. Similarly, surfing the web, using email, chat, or Instant Messaging will result in summary disqualification of the contestants.
