Exchange Program Self Checklist

This packet contains information regarding the exchange site you have chosen.  Please complete the necessary paperwork and the self-checklist before submitting the material to the International CoB Exchange Director.

This checklist is designed to ensure that all requirements are completed prior to departure.

q       I am a full-time student at BU.

q       When I go overseas I will be at least a sophomore or not be in the last semester of my senior year.

q       I have an overall GPA of 2.5

q       I have completed my applications for admission and housing to the appropriate school.

q        I have signed and initialed the Outgoing Document form.

q       I have scheduled courses and had them approved by my advisor and the international director.

q       I understand only courses where I receive a grade of C or better will transfer to BU.

q       I have obtained the appropriate Visa and passport.

q       I have booked a flight to the exchange-site country and have found a means of transportation from the airport to the exchange site.

q       I have completed all appropriate orientations.

q       I will remember to contact my advisor while I am studying abroad to schedule courses for my next semester at BU.
