John, Karen, Dawn-Alise, and Christian strive to fulfill their commitment to timeless excellence, the family motto, by continuous pursuit of knowledge and dedication to service.  Each is currently engaged in academic endeavors and volunteer service.  John is a professor of management with graduate faculty standing  in the College of Business at Bloomsburg University where he received the Outstanding Teacher Award for 2002 and specializes in teaching applied mathematical courses such as statistical analysis, supply chain operations, decision sciences, operations research, and quality management.  His research interests follow these same areas, and he is published in Quality Management Journal, Quality Progress, Interfaces, Institutional Research Applications, and the Journal of Education for Business.  He is advisor for BSA Venture Crew 251 and has dedicated many years to Scouting's programs.  He received the Order of the Arrow Founder's Award in 2005.

Karen received her bachelor's degree with a major in psychology from Bloomsburg University in May 2005, and now applies her knowledge as a support therapist working with autistic children.  She consistently achieved Dean's List recognition, received the Ellen Barker scholarship in psychology, and was selected for membership in several academic honor societies, including Psi Chi and Phi Kappa Phi.  She previously studied at Temple University, Wilkes University, and King's College.  Karen has served as chairperson for Venture Crew 251 since its inception in 1997, and mothers Scout, the family's eight-year old Border Collie.

Dawn-Alise graduated from Marywood University, magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1999.  After beginning a career as a graphic illustrator, she returned to Marywood and earned a Master's degree in Art Therapy.  Dawn gained valuable art therapy experience during internships at Moses Taylor Rehabilitation Center and the McCauley House in Scranton, and General Hospital in Binghamton NY.  A licensed art therapist, she worked as a psychotherapist for Northeastern Counseling Services of Pennsylvania at Geisinger Hospital in Wilkes-Barre.  Dawn has designed several patches for Venture Crew 251 and Unami Lodge, Order of the Arrow (BSA), and had several artworks selected for inclusion in the juried Wilkes-Barre Fine Arts Fiesta, receiving honorable mention in 2001.  Dawn is an adjunct instructor in art therapy at Marywood University.  Dawn and her daughter, Jocelyn, reside in Scranton.

Christian first graduated from Marywood in 2000, summa cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in business management and then earned a Master's degree in Business Administration.  He earned a doctoral degree in higher education administration in 2008.  Christian is an associate advisor for Venture Crew 251, a BSA national finalist in Native American grass dance, an Eagle Scout, and served on camp staff at Seven Mountains Scout Camp in central Pennsylvania for ten years, for which he was honored as a James E. West Fellow by Juniata Valley Council, BSA.  In October 2001 he ran the Steamtown marathon in Scranton.  In addition to his academic endeavors and volunteer service, Christian teaches a variety of management courses as an assistant professor in the College of Business at Bloomsburg University.  He also played wide receiver for the Scranton Eagles, a semi-pro football team in the Empire State League.  Christian's wife, Carrie, earned her Master of Education degree from Marywood, and taught third grade in a local school district. They reside in Drums with baby Michael.
