BCIT Certification Information

Business, Computer, and Information Technology Certification (K-12)

INFORMATION

Individuals who are seeking certification in Business, Computer, and Information Technology K-12 (BCIT) and already possess a Bachelors degree have two options.

1. Obtain a second Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.Ed.) degree in Business Education at Bloomsburg University.

2. Obtain a Master of Science in Education (M.Ed.) degree in Business Education at Bloomsburg University with the certification option.

We do not grant BCIT certification without also earning a B.S.Ed. or M.Ed. degree in Business Education at Bloomsburg University.

Getting Started

You can get started by sending an unofficial copy of your undergraduate transcript (via mail, email, or fax) to the following individual. We will evaluate your transcript and inform you of the number of credits that you need for the degree.

For the B.S.Ed. or M.Ed. degrees, send the transcript, along with contact information to Dr. Dennis Gehris, Department Chairperson.
