Text Box: Welcome to the College of Business website!  For over 75 years, Bloomsburg University’s College of Business has provided a high quality business education and today we are one of 540 business schools worldwide that are accredited by AACSB International, the premier business school accrediting body in the world.  In addition, our Business Education program is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) which is the premier accrediting body for teacher education in the country.  At Bloomsburg University in the College of Business we are about demonstrating quality programs in undergraduate and graduate education.   In business, we have undergraduate majors in Accounting, Business Information Systems, Finance, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing and a Masters of Business Administration. In addition, we offer an undergraduate major in Computer and Information Systems. For those wanting to teach business we offer an undergraduate major in Business Education and a Master of Education in Business Education.  To augment your major, we have career concentrations in Fraud Examination, Information Assurance, and, International Business.  The College of Business is dedicated to students.  Students are always taught by the faculty, never by teaching associates and class sizes average less than 25 per class.  You will know your professors here and they will know you.  What we do for students can be found in our mission statement which states, in part: We prepare undergraduate students to meet or exceed performance expectations in initial professional positions and to build upon experiences to achieve career advancement. Many of our students do internships and, in concert with our excellent academic programs, allow us to maintain an excellent placement rate of 90% for our graduates that place us in the upper echelon of institutions nationwide.  We offer high quality programs as evidenced by our prestigious external accreditations, a comprehensive offering of business programs for both undergraduate and graduate programs, and a career orientation, which generates jobs, and careers for our graduates.  All of this and we are proud to be a part of a well-respected university in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.
